Vehicle Detail

1969 Plymouth RoadRunner This car is a real Roadrunner, not a satellite clone. (title says road runner). The car was originally a 383 with a 3 speed. The previous owner did all the work to it, so I don’t know much about the specifics of the car. The car has been painted at least once, there is some rust starting (bubbles) on the lower rear quarters and around the wheel wells and the paint on the roof is flaking. Overall the car is very solid. The car runs and drives. It is a lot of fun in the shape it is in, or would be a great start for a project (which was my plan). I just don’t have the time for it and hate to see it sitting around. It has been sitting for 5 years, but has been started and driven occasionally during that time (about once a year when I had to move it out of the barn) The seats are a bit rough, but the dash is in good shape. 440 engine (believed to be an 80’s vintage, but I’m not a Chrysler guy so I don’t know for sure) New distributer, coil and spark plug wires Headers with dual 3” Flowmaster mufflers, exhaust ends in front of rear axle. Car sounds awesome. Liquid filled Autometer temp, oil pressure and fuel pressure gauges Sun pro tach (not currently connected, I never wired it back in when I swapped the distributer to get it running) Automatic Tranny, 10-12 gallon fuel cell in the truck (not exactly sure how big it is) Car has been mini-tubbed in rear, narrowed rear end, still leaf spring suspension in the rear. Not sure what rear end it is, or what gears it has. The tub job was done well, at first look in the trunk you don’t even realize that there is 18.5” tires under the back Rear tires are Mickey Thompson sportsman 31 x 18.5 R15 on Weld aluminum rims Front tires are 205/70/R15 on Weld racing aluminum rims Tires show the signs that they have been sitting for a while, they have some cracking. Car still has the Roadrunner “beep beep” horn, currently it is not wired in, but worked when tested on battery This car has a great stance and looks fast sitting still. Buy this car and be cruising the day you take it home. $500 deposit due within 24hrs of auction end, balance due in cash or certified check on pickup. On Apr-28-11 at 09:34:32 PDT, seller added the following information: Update: I moved the car the other night, and it has developed a misalignment issue with the starter, it still starts, but sometimes it disengages while spinning over. the car is still functional. i have not troubleshot anything with this issue.
