Vehicle Detail
If you are looking for a true classic this is it!!! I purchased this bike from the original owner who let it sit for 28 years, after a thorough carb clean and synchronization it fired right up just like a SOHC honda should. This bike runs absolutely perfect. It has been jetted to match the header and is ready for pod filters. After riding it around in stock trim I decided to build a classic cafe' bike. I used a seat from Carpy and a fender from Roc City. The paint was done by myself and a friend of mine who is a custom painter- the checkerboard is painted not decals. It has power stand racing bar end mirrors and less obtrusive lights. It has new EBC kevlar pads and drilled rotors- this thing stops great. The side covers were in pretty sad shape but I managed to save them by epoxying and fiberglassing the back, they have a couple of small cracks showing through the paint, the tank has been cleaned and lined, it has a new 630 oring chain and 38 tooth rear sprocket- it made the bike a lot more highway friendly. The tires have about a thousand miles on them. It has one small oil leak on the stator housing where the last owner slid in his garage and that's what made him park it. It only leaks after a long ride and it sits on the kickstand, it leaves a spot about the size of a ping pong ball. With all that being said, I haven't been able to ride this bike anywhere without drawing a crowd, it looks fantastic and rides the same. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
