Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1992 Volkswagen Cabriolet Corot Convertible. This car belongs to my grandpa who is donating the money from its sale to my sister. My sister Angie has just been selected to be a participant in a human rights delegation to Rwanda, Africa. June 18 - July 11, through Global Youth Connection, a non-prophet organization dedicated to action for compassion, human rights and global responsibility. This program is designed for young leaders committed to the promotion of human rights and social justice. She is one of fifteen participants from the US chosen based on a competitive application process. Although Angie is extremely excited and the program provides a wealth of benefits and opportunities, it is also very costly. Angie is planning fundraisers on her own, one of which is asking family and friends for donations to help pay the tuition costs and international airfare totaling approximately $5,500. Angie doesn't know grandpa is doing this for her. He wants to see the look on her face when he gives her the money. So bid to win because all the money is going toward a great cause! The things I know about the car. The speedometer does not work therefore the miles are unknown. It shows 8x,xxx miles on the odometer. The power windows do work but the switches are going bad (have to play with the switches to make windows go up or down). The top will need to be replaced, see pics. There is a dent in the front left fender by the headlight, see pic. After you turn, signals don't turn off automatically. Interior is in decent shape except door panels, see pics. That's all that I know that is wrong with the car from what I have seen. Grandpa purchased this car 2 years ago from a friend of his who towed the car behind his motorhome for several years (reason for holes in bumper). Car has been stored in grandpa's building with a cement floor until last week when we took it out to take pics. Overall the car is in pretty good shape. It has got leather interior. The car runs and drives great, drive it anywhere! Tires are like brand new. The body is still in pretty good shape with no rust, and hey it's a cute convertible to enjoy the summer. If you have got ANY questions shoot me an email and I will gladly answer the best that I can.
