Vehicle Detail
This is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, that has been stored in a garage for the last 18 years. This is a two owner car, it has the original engine and transmission, and 10 bolt differential. The car was built in the second week of October 1968, at the Los Angeles Plant. According to the Body ID plate, it originally came Green with Green vinyl top and Green interior. In the mid 80's the interior was changed to black, top changed to black, and body painted Burgundy. After sitting for those 18 years, I took the time to lube the cylinders before turning it over manually, turned it a bunch of times, checked the timing, points, plugs, cap, rotor, and then put the starting fluid to it, and she fired right up. I am replacing the rear wheel cylinders, as they have seepage, and the front pads, bleeding the system, and I'll be taking it for a test drive to quarter car wash off the rest of the grease and oil. The car has a very minimum of rust. a couple few bubbles on the pass side front and rear wheel wells, and a little at the back window bottom at the vinyl. the car has had the driver door repaired and the pass front fender from minor accidents back in the 80's. The interior is in need of re-finishing, the dash top is missing, the headliner and door panels needs replacing, the carpets are worn, and front seats could use re-upholstery. Rear seats and side panels are in good condition. Wiring appears to work, lights and such. I will be updating as I get further into firing and running the car. This is a great So Cal rust free chassis to start your Camaro project with!!! I have the California PINK SLIP for it!! (Yes, a real PINK SLIP) No Trades, Cash talks. Vehicle is available for inspection in Glendale, California. Engine shots at my photobucket album : zedhunter at yahoo dot com http://s264.photobucket.com/albums/ii200/zedhunter/1969%20Camaro/?action=view¤t=SDC15215.jpg This is NOT a numbers matching car. Engine stamped 13R416157 V 1006 CKK . It looks like that is from a 1972/73 car. It starts and runs, gas tank is cleaned out. once I get the brakes finished, we try the road. I'm hoping to have it at Pomona on the 17th, and it is for sale locally. Make a serious offer, and enjoy your new 69 Camaro sooner! Please email, or Call 818 281 9555 with any questions. On Apr-30-11 at 08:14:50 PDT, seller added the following information: She Starts !!! She Runs !!!! She Stops!!! After bleeding the brakes, the tranny works, brakes work, she is ready to go!!
