This is it, folks, one of the most incredible cars Audi has ever produced, in excellent condition. This car has been used only in highway, rural and suburban settings, driven by a mom to carry our three-year-old son. This car has been religiously maintained both by dealers and a private, conscientious mechanic--all receipts are in hand. The interior is a 9 out of 10. There are some scuffs on the light switch and mirror switch; the drink holder on the console doesn't retract (very minor). Otherwise, everything works perfectly. There is a brand new OEM CD player, and the air conditioning was serviced and charged–blows ice cold. Exterior . . . 9 out of 10, again. There are some scuffs on the bumpers and here and there, and some scrapes in the left rear fender (see photos) but no real dents, or anything like that. We have babied this car, religious oil changes, frequently washing and vacuuming her, because she looks so pretty! New Continental DWS tires (less than 500 miles on them), JUST aligned and balanced, too (one appears to have a little bubble in the sidewall. Mavis Tires says don’t worry about it, for now). This car NEEDS NOTHING but your hands on the driver's wheel. As for the S6, itself-- If you're reading this ad, then you probably already know about this car. It is very fast, handles like it's glued to the road, comfortable for long drives, and very pretty to look at. The Avant body is also very handy for picking up groceries and such. NOTES: - While there was a babyseat installed in the rear center, I don’t think people have sat in these seats more than ten times. - There are some minor scratches and scuffs; the bumpers have a few splotches, etc.. On the left rear fender are some relatively small scrapes that don’t really bother us, at all. Body shop wants $345 to repair. - LL Bean Waterhog floor mats front and back - 128484 miles - Minor wear to the interior–far less than you’d expect for this kind of mileage. The S6 also sits 10 mm lower than the standard A6 Avant. The 340-horse V-8 launches the S6 easily, and the Tiptronic is one of the best manumatics available. Flick the steering wheel buttons up through its five gears, and listen to the healthy exhaust brraapp and burble. The compliant suspension allows some sway when cornering, but like other Audis, progressive springs rates firm up the car as you press it. On Apr-26-11 at 11:57:58 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer the several inquiries on this subject, please note that while the headlight lenses are somewhat, and quite normally fogged, they are not as bad as they appear to be in the intense sunlight during which these photos were taken. The driver's side is a BIT more fogge than the passenger side, but not as bad as it looks. We never saw any point in replacing them, as they burn very brightly at night. You can buy replacements for about $150 per pair, or you can buy a paste and clean them up, a bit. Please realize that this car is being sold as a driver, not as a restored classic. It's a great car that needs nothing I know of.
