2002 3500 Duramax/Allison crew cab 4x4. 225,000 miles highway miles. Owned since 2004. Maintained well. Used to haul 3 horses in a 30' featherlight gooseneck (wife drove 90% of those miles). Sold the horses and now it just sits with exception of the occasional drive to keep everything in check. I would rate the drivetrain/ driveability an 8.5 on a 10 scale. There is however nothing known wrong with the truck that would cause me alarm to drive it anywhere. Runs and drives excellent. Newer tires, batteries, injectors, serpentine belt, rear brakes (pads, rotors, calipers, bearings. Recent service. Its ready to go. Took it to Sturgis last fall (1500 mile round trip) and had no trouble. It drives sweet and does everything its supposed to do. Drives great, doesnt rattle and hauls the mail. Loaded with power everything. Heat and AC work as they should. Tan leather interior. Its been in the horse business and it shows. Cleans up pretty nice but if your looking for a super clean truck on the inside...this isnt it. I would rate it a 7 on 10 scale cosmetically. No big tears in the seats but the carpets kinda gross. No rust but the passenger side of the truck has some good sized dents from a deer bouncing off it last fall and the black plastic thing above the front bumper is broke on the passenger side corner. Wasnt a big deer but a deer nontheless. Doors open and close just fine. Not that big of a deal considering what it is. Box is fine as is the tailgate. If your looking for a big crew cab Duramax/Allison 4x4 thats been well maintained for well under 10k....here it is.
