Up for bidding is a 1965 Ford Fairlane 500. This is a four door with a 289. It has a two barrel carburetor and the transmission is a three speed with overdrive on the column. Everything on this car works as it should. It is rust free and starts easy. This car sounds great. It has dual exhaust with blue walker mufflers. This car has an AM radio. The body and mechanical on this car is sound. All the lights work (backup, interior, trunk, dash, etc.) This car has 121,636 miles. Below I have listed what has been done to the car. This is a numbers matching car. - Front end alignment, new ball joints. - New clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing. - New drive shaft u-joints. - New shocks, tires, brake shoes, wheel cylinders and master cylinder. - New hallogen headlights that have been aimed. - The car has been undercoated front to rear with rubberized undercoating (it is very clean underneath). - New paint job, base coat clear coat, sanded and polished. - Starts in any weather, it has a hand choke. - All the glass is good. - This car has shackles and sits up a few inches in the back. Two things should be done to this car that I would like to mention. The seats need recovering. Also, it needs new weather strips around the doors and trunk. The carpet on the front drivers side has a hole in it. Other than this, this car shines and the paint is very strait. It always starts great and drives smooth. This car never gives me any problems, it has been my daily driver but I have just too many cars sitting around and have no where to put them as I live in town. Thanks for looking at my auction.
