I have owned this bike since Sept. 2009. New tires and a sealed battery were installed shortly before I bought it. As soon as I took delivery I had Valley Motorsports of Northampton, MA.,go through it because it had been sitting unused for some time. I have put about 1000 miles on it since owning it and it runs flawlessly. .The service included carburetor cleaning and overhaul. I have the receipt for the service. Cosmetically it is about as nice as you will find for a bike of this vintage.There is minor flaking of the coating on the engine cases, something you will find on nearly all of these bikes. The right muffler has a very small ding on the undersurface. The mufflers are otherwise in beautiful shape.There is virtually no rust anywhere - check out the photos of the bike minus the seat and covers . The tank has no dings or dents. The tailpiece has no cracks or other defects. The seat has no rips or seam separations. The diagonal line seen in the photo of the right muffler is the reflection of a monopod attached to the camera and not a scratch. Also, those with a sharp eye will notice that the speedo cable grommet is missing in the shot of the exhaust manifolds. I replaced the grommet in its hole after the photo was taken . I have the original bill of sale for this bike, as well as the owner's card, tool kit, and owner's manual. I am thinning out my herd of Hondas because at nearly 70 years old I am tiring of maintaining everything. Finally,I have described this bike as thoroughly as possible through words and pictures.It is beautifully preserved. However the prospective buyer must keep in mind that it is 32 years old . It does show a mild "patina of age". It was never intended to be a show bike. Furthermore, it runs perfectly now, but as I have learned with these old bikes, that is no guarantee that nothing will ever go wrong with it. The winning bidder is required to post a $500 non-reundable deposit with paypal. The balance must be paid with a certified check within 10 days and the bike picked up within 2 weeks of auction close unless other arrangements are made.
