Vehicle gave no indication of transmission problem.I have diagnostic report from AAMCO transmission specialists.Vehicle IS drivable, but not recommended. Slipping occurs only when accelerating above 2500rpm.I have driven since diagnostic and am completely baffled. It shifts fine and drives 70mph, you just have to feather the throttle.Small rust spot on passenger rear quarter panelSmall dings and one dent on passenger side front fender Conclusion:Vehicle is otherwise in great condition for a 23 year old car. I bought it from the original owner for my wife who drove it on average 10 miles a day to work and back. Odometer shows 26,570. Vehicle has 80,502. I have the original odometer and verified paperwork to prove mileage. I was quoted between $1700 and $2500 for the transmission replacement. I have seen the transmissions on eBay for about $600 with shipping included and warranty for you do-it-your-selfers out there Let it be known, I do know what I have and understand what it is worth, even in its current running condition. I am not here to make a million bucks, I am using eBay to take the hassle out of selling the vehicle. On that note, I will NOT entertain offers away from eBay.
