1971 CAMARO Z28 TRIBUTE 383 STROKER COMPLETE FRAME-OFF RESTORATION < 1 This 1971 Camaro Z28 tribute is a fresh frame-off restoration and has only been driven six hundred miles. I visited with the builder and I will tell the story as I go through the pictures. The car has new front fenders and both quarters were replaced. I went all over the car with a magnet on the rockers and it is solid as anyone could want. The car is laser straight and the paint is as nice as any car I have seen . The pictures just cannot do this car justice, it is prettier than the pictures and the paint is much better than it was when it left the factory. 2 Every piece of chrome and stainless are new including the chrome on the 383 stroker under the hood The emblems are all new also. This was a professional restoration by a man that is committed to turning out cars with the utmost integrity. Most of the glass is new except the driver's side. I really wanted a heart beat of america's (yesteryear's chevrolet) front license plate. This Z28 was all I could get at my local chevy dealer. 3 Just look at the reflections in the paint. It mirrors everything around it. It looks like you could just stick your arm in it as if it was water. I take all my pictures in natural light, some with sun, some clouds and in shade too. I took some in the garage with neon and flourescent. THIS WAY YOU SEE THE CAR IN EVERY LIGHT SCENARIO. 4 All the lights and lens covers are new and the car has new disc brakes . As you can see by the side shots the body is laser straight. The car has not been driven enough to have rock pecks, just zoom in and look close. 5 I am a retired farmer and buy and sale a few cars a year. I try to buy cars I would want to keep for myself. I have bought a few I wound up selling for a loss as a project car. I have 100% feed back and I do not want sell a car that is not up to my good standards. PLEASE call me with any questions, I do not check my messages very often and I am old school so Phones are best - 870 930 6104 I reserve the right to end the sale early if someone makes a reasonable offer. I would not sell the car out side of Ebay though. That would protect you as a buyer and me too. It would be a buy it now added after we agree on a price by phone. 6 The strips are perfect and flawless and the clear coat is smooth as if they were all painted with no rough edges. 7 THE CAR CHANGES COLORS DEPENDING ON THE LIGHT SCENARIO. 8 The car has new tires on the rear and the front are close to new. The wheels are American racing aluminum style and are very nice and polished to a high shine. This car is a power steering car and drives great. 9 10 The radiator is a new four core and the edelbrock 650 carburator and intake are new as well. All new hoses and fittings done right. This 383 is street friendly and runs strong. The turbo 350 shifts good just as it should. Alot of new parts and money spent under this hood. The cars runs cool and the oil pressure is great. The car looks as it should with the wiring being neat under the hood as well as inside. 11 She stops great with power disc brakes and drives as good as it looks. 12 13 14 The under hood black is the factory correct color, my camara does show so dust though. 15 The interior is all new from the carpet up to the tightly stretched headliner. The bucket seats are done in black leather and are very comfortable. The sony sound system sound good and has MP 3 and all the new stuff I know nothing about. 16 18 I would say all of the gauges were new, everything works just as it should although the speedometer is fast. The tach is in the dash and would be correct for a z car. 19 Every piece of the weatherstripping is new and ALL of the door jams are nice with perfect paint and new door panel and chrome. The glass in the driver's door was not replaced and it does have some scratches. 20 21 The odometer show 47,380 and it may have a few more miles as the auction goes on. 22 23 24 It just has that right look. 25 Seat belts are in the car. 26 27 The rear tires are P275/60-15 and the front are 165R-15. If you look at the paint in this picture what you see is the reflection of the asphalt. The paint is perfect. 28 29 30 31 32 Please look at the stripes at the ends. They are neat and the edges are smooth. The trunk is very nice under the mat and looks just as it would have left the factory. This car's paint looks much nicer than when it left the factory. The spring that holds the trunk up broke and it left a small flaw in the stripe on the right side between the window and the trunk opening. I do not think it would be a deal breaker for anyone but it is there. 33 34 This car has all new bushings , subframe mounts and many more new parts to make it drive better than new. The front discs are new with drop axle that makes handling great. All new shocks too. 35 36 37 The new flowmasters and 2" exhaust sound great and stout as well. 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 This is agreat car that anyone would be proud to add to thier collection.
