Here it is... the one you've been looking for... Awesome classic, Original RUST FREE Black Pearl Addition 280Z with SAP (sports appearance package). This is an amazing example of classic, limited addition Z car pampered and maintained by 2 prior, fanatical owners. I am a Z collector and have owned more than 20 Z cars... This is a collector quality driver. History on the car as it was told to me by the second owner... The car was owned personally for 25+ years by the owner of an Oregon Datsun/Nissan dealership... it was originally used as a dealer demo and was loaded with every possible option available in 1978, including: Black Pearl metallic paint, SAP package... dual sport mirrors, rear louvers, special striping, limited addition aluminum alloy wheels, Dealer option sunroof, and Jensen Am/Fm cassette stereo radio. The car remained in the family and was used as a weekend/specialty car for the subsequent years. The person I bought it from purchased it from the family in 2004 and also kept it as a specialty car until I bought it recently. Everything on the car is as it was from the dealer in 1978... no modifications... While there is no documentation to prove all of this, it appears legit to me. The car has its original books and manuals along with original datsun keys... Original Spare and jack are unused. There is no evidence of any body work or collision damage whatsoever that I can see. This Z is rust free. Underneath is amazingly clean and straight as well. The black pearl paint is in fantastic condition. I was told it is original paint and it appears to be ... it is the correct special black pearl metallic which is just slightly more metallic than the regular datsun black. There is one scratch of note on the hood and a minor blemish on the right rear quarter near the bumper... I'm going to try to have that removed (paintless dent removal) this week. Interior is excellent. Carpet, console, panels, etc look great...drivers seat bottom is a bit stressed but not ripped... dash has 2 cracks (of course) under the cover... carpet has some minor fading... Gauges and interior lights work including the clock (amazing). A/C blows cold and strong. Jensen stereo works and sounds good. Motor runs strong and powerful with no smoke or funny business... Starts and idles great. 5 speed shifts smooth and silky and feels tight. Clutch is strong. This Z rides and drives straight and smooth... no wiggles, rattles, or shakes. Cruises beautifully. Feels solid, tight, and stout.... goes and stops as it should and a blast to drive. Overall, this is a top quality, straight, West Coast, rust free, very limited addition, loaded Z. No Disappointments here... Awesome driver condition show car or weekend cruiser... not concourse but excellent quality collectible. Any Z enthusiast will love this car along with anyone looking for a really cool vintage sports car that can be used as reliable transportation. I have owned many Z cars and I can say honestly that this is one of ther best. I would drive this one home cross country, no problem. Car is located in Beverly Hills...
