A beautiful 1977 Porsche 911 S Targa I am the second owner and have had this car for 27 years. A year ago the engine and transmission was torn down and completely rebuilt by MotorMeister in California. All internal parts were inspected and replaced if necessary. The compression was raised by 0.5. New clutch, plate, and several gears. They did a great job, but like always, it still has an oil seep. While the engine and transmission were out, I had the shocks, brakes, rotors, suspension, heater, shift linkage, engine compartment insulation, and fuses replaced or repaired. I have tried to keep the car as close to original as possible, with the exception of the original radio. It has been replaced wtih a Sony with CD player. As you can see, the interior is in great shape. The front seats were recently recovered in original leather, the dash has been replaced, new sun visors, steering wheel cover, new door pockets, and the carpet is about 3 years old. All gauges work. I have the original owners manual, tool kit, and a shop repair manual. 1977 was the first year with the galvanized body, no apparent rust. The car has been garaged at least for 27 years. In full disclosure mode, the right rear tail light is cracked, the red plastic between the taillights is scratched, the dome light does not work, and the A/C unit had been removed. There is a small ding in the passenger door, a few imperfections in the paint, the trim around the headlights is cracked, and there are chips in the paint on the front bumper and below the bumper.
