1929 Ford Model A Sport Coupe (50-A) Up for Auction is a 1929 Ford Model A Sport Coupe with Rumble seat, Model 50-A. This car has lived a good portion of its life on and around a Hayward California farm. The car for its age appears to have been well taken care of. Very straight body, doors close very easy and fit tight. All seems line up well and fit nice. Near perfect fenders and splash aprons that only display surface rust, with no rips, no tears or visible signs of repair. All sheet metal is straight with no visible dents or body work that I can tell. I’m no expert so please review the pictures I provided. Lower cowl panels show signs of rust and can either be repaired or replaced. They are available thru a number of sources. Lower portions of doors are showing light signs of rust. Additionally, the panel below the rumble lid was damaged, possibly from backing the car into something with the spare tire mounted. An attempt to repair it does show up. The replacement panel is also available thru a number of sources. The underside of this car looks GREAT and is solid as well as the typical cancer zones of a car of this peroid which are perfect. From what I can tell everything is there except the following Shocks, shock arms and Links, typical. Original style headlamps (Buckets appear to be correct but have sealed beam conversions) and conduits, Horn and conduit, spare tire, original Motometer (It currently has a High end car Boyce Motometer), and some hubcaps. There is a spare tire mounting bracket that is included with this auction. An additional box of small parts that include gaskets, exhaust manifold and misc trim pieces is included with this auction. I just do recall what all is in the box. Please ask questions if you don't see something. The car has been kept in a dry shipping carton that I rent, protected from the elements. I installed a newer battery and this car starts very easy everytime. I start the car weakly. The water pump has been replaced with a reconditioned leakless water pump. I have a clear California title in hand. Now the fun stuff, 1.)
