This was a typically misrepresented ebay car. I was seriously ripped off. I paid a lot of money for the car about 8 years ago, and have only driven it once since I bought it and it has sat in my driveway every since. I recieved no help from my ebay 'buyers protection' program. Because of the problems that were not disclosed in the ad I am selling the car for parts. I have the title, but it has been signed in the wrong place by someone else who was going to buy the car before me. This will have to be straightened out by a title service or some other means if you are wanting to drive it, as I am not fixing it! If this is not acceptable, please do not bid. The car was supposed to have been a 'daily driver' according to the seller when I bought it. When I recieved the car, the brakes were mushy, the transmission slipped, and the exhaust leaked badly, etc.. There is no radio. Having owned a Rolls before, I asked all the correct questions about the brakes etc. and condition, but I was lied to by the seller. The body is very straight and dent free, and the body gaps are very good. No rust through holes are showing on the body. The chrome still looks good. The interior wood trim needs to be refinished and clear coated as the clear is breaking up and coming off. The interior still looks good, but the carpets need replacing now. I have occasionally washed the car and put hide food on the leather. This has kept the leather nice, and soft. With a dye job the leather would be about as nice as any other Rolls of this age and miles. The seats are not ripped or torn and the door panels still look nice. The car needs a repaint from sitting without being waxed for all of these years. The glass is all nice. The motor has not been started for a number of years now. I am selling the car as is, where is. No test drives etc., as the car is not driveable. The motor cannot be heard running as the gas will have to be drained and oil changed and a new battery installed before even seeing if it will still start after so long. This is more work and time than I want to put into the car. That is why I am selling it for this price. It is as is where is.The car actually drove very well, and the engine ran smoothly, but as mentioned the car did have problems so I only drove the car once and that was for maybe a total of 5-6 miles. The car has not been started or moved from the spot it is in for the whole time that I have owned it. If this is not acceptable, please do not bid. Please bring everything that you think you will need to load. The car also has a flat tire, do not know if it will air up. I am losing my shirt on this car, and am not willing to do any work on the car or take any less, so the bottom feeders need not make their usual ridiculous offers. I know the car needs a lot, but it is still worth quite a bit for parts or you can restore it, put a Chevy motor in it, street rod it- or make a flower pot out of it, that is up to the buyer.
