1970 CORVETTE LS5 454/390 hp NUMBERS MATCHING Bridgehampton blue Power brakes, power steering and power window Turbo 400 with a Kenwood stereo hidden with remote control and fantastic speakers 1 I purchased this car in September of 2010 and and drove it a twelve hundred miles before I cleaned it up, waxed it and put it up for the winter. I took it on one trip and drove it enough to know this is a great car. I would drive it anywhere. It even will get fifteen miles to a gallon if you drive it right. 2 I will tell the history of this car as I go through the 57 pictures. I take my pictures in natural light and we do not use Photoshop to make them look better than they really are. I did take a couple inside so you could see it under flourescent lighting. I take my pictures in full sun and some in shade and some with clouds that way you see the car in every light scenario and you can zoom in to see what you are buying. 3 This car was repainted eight and a half years ago. It is now a 79,450k mile car. When I bought it it had 78,273 mile and only had a little over 2,000 miles put on it in the last eight years. The door panels and whatever it needed in the front end. The drivetrain is all original and the vin# on the block is the same as the car. This car drives and rides really good and the car is very tight with no rattles. 4 The chrome is real nice down low and the stainless on the wheels are good too. One wheel ring has a small ding. I have another one to put on, but some of the pictures were before I got the ring. 5 This car goes from dark blue to light blue depending on light. The car is the original paint code 949 bridgehampton blue. 6 7 The car is all factory correct in every way except for the rear rack that I added new. 8 The tailpipe chrome is nice and the bumpers are nice as well. 9 10 11 The car does have a great shine to it and the reflection in this picture shows the asphalt in it. This car is very beautiful. However it does have a few chips and It has a few flaws as I said earlier the paint is close to nine years and it has been driven. Just zoom in and look and it always gets alot of compliments on how pretty it is. 12 The tires all match and have lots of miles left in them, probably 80%. 13 14 The rear window is removable too. 15 I took these pictures before I put it up for the winter . 16 17 I am a retired farmer and back in the seventies I was a parts manager at a chevrolet dealer. I will sell a few cars a year and if I get something that I do not feel good about I will sell it at a loss as a project car. I have 100% feed back and I strive to sell good cars. My number is 870 930 6104. 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 LOOK at the reflection - it has curb appeal and a gets lot of attention. 28 29 When the headlights are on the windshield wiper door open too. The lights are fast as they should be. The wipers work too.If you drive it at night, you can not see the wiper door anyway. 30 EVERY LIGHT - PARK LIGHT AND TAIL LIGHT WORKS JUST AS IT SHOULD. EVEN THE LITTLE LIGHTS ON THE CONSOLE THAT SHOWS THE RUNNING LIGHT, IF YOU HIT THE BRAKES IT COMES ON AND THE SIGNAL TOO. ALL THE FIBEROPTICS WORK. 31 32 33 THIS CAR RUNS LIKE A DREAM AND EVERYTHING LOOKS JUST LIKE IT LEFT THE FACTORY. I HAVE THE FACTORY DISTRIBUTOR BUT I HAD THE TRANSISTOR IGNITION PARTS PUT IN IT WITH THE REV LIMITER PUT IN IT . IF YOU LOOK AT IT YOU CAN NOT TELL IT IS NOW TRANSISTOR WHICH IS GOOD FOR THE RADIO TOO. 34 I love that unmolested look so I have not even washed it. It holds a good oil pressure and it does not use oil or smoke any what so ever. 35 36 37 EVERYTHING INSIDE THE CAR LOOKS GREAT AND THE COLOR IS NOT FADED. I WAS TOLD BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER THAT THE DOOR PANELS WERE REPLACED. THE WEATHERSTRIPPING WAS ALL REPLACED AND IS STILL IN GOOD SHAPE. THE BLACK INTERIOR IS FACTORY CORRECT AS WELL. 38 THE SEATBELTS ARE ALL ORIGINAL AND THEY DO SHOW SOME WEAR. THE SEATS LOOK REALLY NICE FOR THEIR AGE AND STILL THE DARK RICH COLOR. 39 Park brake works. 40 EVEN THE CLOCK WORKS. HOWEVER, IT HAS TO BE SET BY TAKING THE BATTERY POST OFF. THE THING YOU SET IT WITH IS STRIPPED. ALL THE GUAGES WORK AND THE CAR RUNS COOL EVEN IN THE SUMMER WITH A NEW LARGE RADIATOR. THE OIL PRESSURE IS GOOD ALSO JUST AS IT SHOULD BE. THE CAR CHARGES AS IT SHOULD AND I JUST PUT A NEW BATTERY ON IT. 41 THE CARPET WAS REPLACED NINE YEARS AGO TOO. 42 The Kenwood sound system & cd player is mounted behind the seat and the remote operates it from the driver's seat and the speakers are really nice and are behind the seat. The front speakers are mounted where the factory one's went. So it still looks factory correct, but it has plenty of volume to take the T-tops off and cruise. The factory radio turns it on and off. 43 The kenwood is hidden whe you let the lid down and it has two speakers like the one in the next picture. 44 I should have vacuumed. The covers for the T-tops are like new. 45 TILT AND TELESCOPING STEERING WHEEL. 46 47 The shoulder belts ratched in and out. The seat belds are original. 48 49 The former owner had a chip installed in the car so if it was stolen it could be located. He said low jack would change it over to my name. I knew I would sell the car soon, so I did not put it in my name. I have all of the paper work and both key rings have something that helps locate the car. All paper work comes with the car. 50 THIS CAR WAS BUILT {C-13} MARCH 13 1970. 51 IT HAS THE TRIP METER TOO. 52 I just sold the red 69 model and it was a frame off with everything replaced including the rear springs with a fiberglass replacement. It drove and handled great, but this car drives just as good and handles great . 53 I repainted the oil pan and a little of the aframe. I did a bad job so I did not paint any more. This is a rust free car the bird cage in perfect and the only rust on the car is surface. The car is as good as my 2007 pickup. 54 55 I DID PRESSURE WASH IT AND SAW ALL THE NEW BRAKE LINES, CALIPER AND ROTERS. IT HAD NEW BALLJOINTS AND PINS IN THE AFRAME. 56 57 Terms of Sale The buyer will submit a NON-REFUNDABLE $2,000.00 deposit within 48 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. Deposit will be made through Paypal. No sort of checks will be accepted for deposit. Buyer agrees to pay the remaining balance due within 7 days of the end of the auction. Balance will be paid by wire transfer. All financial transactions must be completed before removal of vehicle. If deposit or balance is not received within time frame indicated, buyer will forfeit the right to purchase. If you cannot meet the terms of the auction, DO NOT BID!
