This is a 1999 Subaru Forester S with a salvage title for parts. It was hit in the left front suspension, which broke the lower control arm mount, bent the lower control arm, and bent the unibody. I purchased this for it's engine to put in another Forester that had what I think is a slight rod knock. I placed the bad motor in this car since it runs very well and could be used for parts or to be rebuilt. The engine is bolted in, but I did not hook up the wiring, hoses, starter, flexplate, etc. If everything were to be hooked up the car would run and drive. Besides the engine, the transmission valve body has been swapped. I needed the valve body for a different car that had a bad shift valve. I installed the bad valve body back in this car again so that it could run and drive if necessary. The other parts that have been removed are as follows: left front inside and outside door handles, signal/wiper combination switch, clockspring, clock, blower motor, catalytic converter, and charcoal canister. The rest of the car is in very good condition. Besides the left fender and door, all of the other body panels are straight and rust-free, and have few dents or scratches. The glass is all good. The interior is tan leather with heated seats. It is pretty dirty but should clean up well. The three good tires are Goodyear Assurance Fuel Savers that are practically new. Again, this car is being sold for parts. I suppose it could be repaired, but I wouldn't do it since the unibody is bent where the lower control arm mount is. I am selling this as a whole since I don't have the time to part it out, so please don't ask me for individual parts. This car is being sold as-is, where-is, and transportation is the responsibility of the buyer. I will not ship this item, but I will work with your shipper as best I can. I can deliver this car within 100 miles of Phillipsburg, NJ for $1.50 a loaded mile.
