2000 Honda Shadow

This bike is a 2000 model Honda 600 VLX Deluxe Shadow. It starts right up, and it runs and sounds good with the chrome Vance and Hanes pipes. We have lots of deer in Central Texas, and have sure been thankful for it's loud sounding pipes! I bought this bike from a neighbor last year, and it had been about 25 years since I had ridden a motorcycle. This bike is great for getting back into riding! It now has 23,400 miles, but I might ride it to work some before the auction ends. It gets about 70 mpg, which is nice compared to my gas guzzling pick up truck. The bike sells as is, as there is no existing warranty, but it runs well and has never failed to start right up. The tires are not new, but should have some rides left before replacing.The Texas registration is up for renewal at the end of this month, and it is due for a current State inspection. We have the clear title in hand and will sign the transfer for the new owner. This bike is several years old and it shows some signs of use, but we have not endured any problems with it. It is a nice deep purple in color, and it has served it's purpose well in reteaching me how to ride, and I have a bigger bike in mind now.
