1999 Dodge Stratus 2.4L DOHC 4-cylinder This car has been family owned since new. It has been used as an everyday car. The oil has been changed regularly every 3,000 miles. The car has 220,762 miles on it. The car has some new parts to it: · New oil filter and oil · New front brake pads · New starter · New Transmission control solenoid · New spark plugs · New turn signal assembly · Trunk seal was replaced · Aftermarket stereo( Phase Linear) · New battery Leaving for college soon…. It’s time to let this car go. This car has been pretty reliable, I have used it to get to school and run errands. The longest I have driven it was for 1 hour 45 minutes. It runs great!!! The only problem with the car is the “limp-home” mode. The car is having trouble shifting out of second gear, but it will drive up to 40 mph. The reverse, neutral, and park gears work perfectly. We replaced the transmission solenoid to fix the transmission, but the problem wasn’t fixed. I am tired of working on this car and I’m going to miss it as it is my first car. This car would be a great first car if the transmission was fixed; I hope you can make better use of it than me. If this car isn’t bought to drive it could be bought for parts. All of the parts are in fairly good working conditions. The only small mishaps of the car are: · A small dent on the driver’s door · A small dent on the rear left passenger’s door · A small nickel sized rust spot on the front driver’s side fender · A small dent above the right brake light · A small hole in the driver’s seat, from wearing out · The clear coat on the roof is coming off · Windshield seals need to be replaced soon · Third rear brake light attachment is brokenThis car is also in a local sale, and I have the right to end sale and bidding before the actual deadline.
