1999 Volvo S80 - T-6 - 2.8L Turbo - 126,399 Miles This car is being relisted because the winning bidder failed to leave a deposit or even come to look at the car. Strong motor and tranny - no leaks, noises, smoking or slippage. Excellent tires and brakes. Drives real nice. Goes to the highest bidder. No Reserve! No Buy It Now!! No Trades! "As Is" Condition. "Check Engine" light is on due to an intermittent starting problem. It always starts and drives but you have to press the clicker or unlock the doors with the key. It is more annoying than anything else, but since my mechanic does not "speak Volvo" it sells "As Is". It mostly starts and drives no problem, but on occasion it takes 2 - 3 minutes to get it started. After the strange phenomenon occurs, the motor runs fine but the tachometer does not move and the idiot lights flash on. Then the next time or 2 it starts, the only light on is the "Check Engine" light and the tachometer works! Hey go figure! I drove it 35 or 50 miles over 3 different occasions and I did not get stranded. Drive it home! Sorry - no warranty or guarantees. This car won't pass NY State's strict inspection standards due to the "Check Engine" light being on, so... New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy.
