I have a 1997 Ford F250 HD Supercab with 143,00 miles and is two wheel drive and limited slip rearend. The engine needs rebuilt or replaced. It is the 7.5 liter (460) CID. There is some rust on the body, bed and tailgate. The transmission shifts well and there are two new front tires. The interior has some tears and the dash has cracks. The front passenger seat hinge is broken. There is no radio. The engine was run low on oil causing the damage, engine ticking loudly, and I bought it at auction. The A/C is believed to be working, I will check on it. The engine reportedly had been tuned up prior to the engine damage??? The truck starts and can be driven onto a trailer or dolly. I have had numerous local offers to part this truck out and scrap what is left, apparently the front sheetmetal (fenders, hood, grill, and bumper parts) are very expensive OEM. Here is an unmolested and non crashed truck. i am resisiting this because I would like to see this truck get a second chance to work again. I have been friends with the original owner and have known this truck since it was new. I will incur close to $100 in fees by selling it on Ebay, but this truck deserves the chance. If it does not sell than the best option is send it to one of the local yards that have offered almost the asking price, since I do not have to pay them any fees. Ultimately "you buy it and can do whatever you want"
