This system is brutally powerful but primitive compared to present-day systems and standards. System does need a static-blocking device installed. Deluxe Carpeted Mustang Floor Mats (set of 4—front two have embroidered Mustang emblem). Cloth car cover. Also included is a Marti Report (a professional report from Marti Auto Works that vouches for my Mustang’s production information, facts and numbers. Check it out here: http://www.martiauto.com/itemselection.cfm?item=REP-2&selecteditem=yes). Vehicle History Originally purchased in West Allis, Wisconsin (original owner’s manual lists original owner). My father bought the car in 1976. My mother hit a deer in 1977. Front left fender damage—repaired. Front left door scraped. Replaced by door from a 1967 red coupe (door has I.D. tags from this red coupe). Original I.D. tag mounted in engine compartment area. I received the car in 1978 as a H.S. graduation gift (my very first car!). Drove it to 122,000 miles on odometer. Restored car in 1982. Moved car to Marion, Indiana (career transfer) Since restoration, driven only 11,912 miles! Garage-stored under car cover. Never stored outdoors! Stored each and every winter (November to April) on jack stands. Each spring, distributor was removed and oil pump drive manually turned until oil was present at the rocker arms, then engine started. Most recent work (8/2009) includes a complete transmission overhaul—new clutch assembly (clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing), turned fly wheel, new transmission output shaft, and new transmission tail housing bushing, even a new drive shaft slip yoke ($1000 worth of work). Car has evidence of having raised three children–at times in the garage too (a few light dings and minor scuff marks). But car is in great cosmetic condition for not having been touched since its restoration (29 years ago). Minor Concerns The front passenger seat needs to be re-upholstered (there is a 3 inch long seam tear on the seat surface). There is a ½” hole in the dash face plate above the cigarette tray where my father had installed a fog light switch (now removed). The rear view mirror glass has internal discoloration due to a sticker that was placed on the mirror prior to the car being owned by my family. The engine compartment top of both shock tower areas had some bondo material applied to four small areas where rust had been present. This was applied by my father before vehicle restoration. Shock towers are solid! On the metal deck area between the windshield and the hood--on the driver side, a thin bead of clear waterproof sealant was applied to a seam (by father before restoration as well), for reason not known--probably for belief that it would help seal out water. Payment requires $1000 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of auction closing. Balance due via Bank Check within 1 week of auction closing. Thanks for looking!
