Up for auction is a 1976 Ford Bronco, equipped with a 302 V8 engine, automatic transmission. The Bronco has factory air conditioning, power steering and power brakes. Vehicle has dual fuel tanks that appear to be factory. Vehicle has a clean PA title. Vehicle can be repaired to put on road, but would be a good candidate for complete restoration, or replace body with fiberglass unit. Engine does turn, but I have not tried to start it and the vehicle has sat for 8+ years. Mechanical condition is unknown, but it does have brakes that still seem to work. Frame and undercarriage look to be in good shape. Exhaust looks usable. There is the usual Bronco rust: the driver's side rocker panel, driver's floor, and driver's lower door hinge all need major repairs. The passenger side is in much better condition. Passenger side door hinge area and rocker seem good. Passenger side floor will still take some repairs. Both rear quarters have damage and/or rust as do the lower cowl areas where the fenders meet the doors. Bottom of rear tailgate is badly rusted, but tailgate still opens and closes, as does the liftgate. The roof does not have significant rust, but it does have numerous sizable dents that may be difficult to remove. Hood, doors and fenders look to be in good usable condition. Driver's door wing window has fallen out of door, but we have the window and it is included with the vehicle. The rear spare tire carrier comes with vehicle, but is not shown in photos. Tire carrier pivot pins are broken off. Vehicle also comes with a factory air cleaner--also not shown. Vehicle is being sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS. Vehicle can be inspected at my location by appointment--please contact me. Vehicle will need to be trailered from my location since it is not currently inspected. Vehicle will need to be picked up within 2 weeks from auction end. On Apr-04-11 at 17:35:55 PDT, seller added the following information: I tried to start the engine this evening, pouring gas down the carb. and the engine did run for a few seconds at a time. It did not sound bad, but it didn't run longer than a few seconds each time gas was poured down. The engine may just need tune up and fresh gas or it could need more extensive work, but if it gets fuel, it will run. I also tried the heater. The heater blower works in high and low, the windshield wipers work, AM radio works (looks factory). Also, the glove box tag reads U15GLB53812 WB 092 C2 Type GVW U151 Body SV Trans. G Axle B8J GVW 4600. I tried the lights, but none of them seemed to work. Thanks for looking.
