Stunning 1957 VW Beetle selling for NO RESERVE... Final bid wins this car no matter what it sells for. This is the car you have been waiting for. Its a real pleasure to drive and people love the original vintage look with side skirts, white walls, yellow vintage license plates, roof rack and oval window just to name a few cool eye catchers. California owned and very good body and undercarriage with very little rust especially for a 1957 year car. Make sure you see the many pics below and you tube videos. I love this car but family is growing and need to let this one go and buy something more practical. It is a 36 hp motor single port with solex carburetor and 4 speed manual transmission. It is an original black car but re-sprayed white at one time. The inside dash and painted trim still shows black. It is also a rare factory radio delete car and still has the old stock sun visors. The car has matching numbers on the pan and chassis. It has also the original fenders. I have not verified the engine numbers but was told it was original motor by last owner in SF. Car starts right up and runs great. It shifts excellent and clutch has lots of life left. Brakes stop very well and feel very good. You can drive this car with confidence. The lights all work. Oil temp gauge works, wipers work, speedometer and odometer work. The fuel gauge is not working but i just always keep it full. She does have tiny bit of oil seepage but nothing serious. No big puddles. Tires are great tread and the wide white walls really make the car stand out. Chrome is good but has some pitting. Glass all in tact and excellent. Seats and door panels have been recovered at one time. Headliner is excellent condition. Battery is new. It has small traces of rust but nothing too serious and the main structural areas are excellent. See the many pics below of floor pans, front trunk and rear engine bay. I took pics of the noticeable rust spots- bottom of windshield passenger side, hood spots, and some small bubbling at passenger front fender. Clean title in hand and car is ready to drive.
