Offered for sale is an original 1953 International Harvester Luverne Special Fire Truck in great original condition. This truck has seen very few miles… with only 5,421 since new! New tires were just put on the truck at a cost of $1,600, the carburetor was rebuilt, brakes rebuilt, full tune up, fluids service, new battery, hoses, belt, among other msc. and additional items. This truck runs and drives beautifully...and has a great patina! The truck is in very good shape all around and has minimal surface rust for something of its age. All of the warning lights and siren are original and in excellent working order. We also have the original build sheet from International for this truck....a very rare item for any vehicle of this age ! Overall length is 22 feet , and just under 8 feet high , so it will fit into a standard garage. This truck is being sold at no reserve and with a bill of sale only.
