This is a 1954 Chrysler new yorker DELUXE with factory hemi engine and fully automatic powerflite transmission. I feel this car is restorabile. I grew up with these cars and have an affection for them. The realization is I can no longer do this type of work. the car is all there with the exception of the air cleaner. I,am still working on that. The car is a 4dr sedan. It is equipped with 331 cubic inch factory hemi engine. The new yorker DELUXE came equipped with the 4 barrel wcfb carb. first year . and was rated at 235 hp. That was the highest horsepower of any American made car that year. It is also equipped with power steering, power brakes, and the first full year of the fully automatic powerflite transmission. Air condition, factory tinted windows, factory dual exhaust, first year. and the original gold star wheel covers. The car was bought new in Texas by a doctor who worked there. When he retired he moved back to his hometown of Thomasville Ga. (where I live ). His son inherited the car. the last time the son drove the car was 7 or 8 years ago. At one time he was going to " tune it up " in taking off the fuel filter he broke the treaded inlet to the carb. he then quit. I bought a replacement wcfb carb. to repair the original wcfb carb. Sold on a bill of sale. the car can be picked up at my workshop in Cairo Ga. will work with you or your transporter to help load. Note: I have had several offers for the air conditioning system. a few for more than opening bid. thank you for that. but I will not part the car out.
