You are bidding on an A code 1965 Mustang. First generation Ford Mustang convertible original 289 2 bbl V 8 and has a 4 speed transmission. Power top, style wheels, deluxe steering wheel, duluxe seat belts and has a console. This car is a blast to drive and gets a lot of attention everywhere it goes. This is a very good looking and driving car. Looking down the sides it’s very straight. Not your average wavy sided Mustang and not you typical resale red Mustang. The color is the original Silver Blue Metallic. Professionally painted PPG basecoat, clear coat over a rust free body there is NOT any undercoating covering up replaced floor pans that had rust, I have many pictures of the underside of this car and it is as rust free as you can find. This car spent most of it life from Palm Springs, California and back to Wisconsin in the spring 2006 and has never seen a Wisconsin winters. This Mustang is a non original GT. The fog lights, GT emblems, duel exhaust, rear GT valance and striping were added. The car is a non disc brake car. This is one of the cleanest original Mustangs you will find! The car has gone through a restoration, everything that needed replacing or rebuilding was done. It runs smooth and strong. New 14” Firestone tires. New style wheels. I know that this car has had the right inner fender replaced at one time and most likely the fender too. The floors, rear frame rails, torque boxes and doors are original. This runs very well and drives like new. The radiator is new. I would not be afraid to drive this car cross country. You could fly in and drive it home if need be! This car was restores 2008 and was sold to a 60 year old lady in Green Bay .She drove it a total of less than 50 miles . The manual shifting four speed was a problem for her. We took the car back and traded her for a power steering, automatic convertible. Since we did the know the history of this car and how nice it is we were more happy to trade for this beautiful blue convertible. The blue interior is new or very very close to new it was redone replaced in 2006. The seats, carpets, door panels, armrests, kick panels, dash pad, instrument bezel, and sill plates are very nice the if not new. The front and rear bumpers, door handles, side mirror, tail light bezels, gas cap, trunk lock sleeve, emblems , side emblems, and has a new blue top boot, The Convertible top and rear window looks close to new and the power top works perfect! The windows to the convertible top seal very well. Anything that needed replacing was replaced. Everything works on the dash including the cigarette lighter. The original am radio is in working condition. Here is your chance to own a rare classic the car is ready to cruise in or take to a car show. Engine compartment is painted semi black along with motor and gold valve covers and air cleaner. Engine bay is impressively clean for a driver quality car.
