This is a 1970 Mustang Coupe with the original 302 automatic. I bought this car a few years ago for my wife and she has decided she wants a 66 instead of a 70 so it must go. It is a great car for restoration or drive it as it is. The paint is in decent shape and it runs ok. The trans shifts nice and mechanically it feels fine. It does have new front shock towers and new brakes all the way around, and stops remarkably well for drums. It does have the original factory AC on it, however it is not hooked up. The body is in fair shape. Typical mustang rot is starting to appear on the rear quarters and the lower door panels, the inners are in good shape though and the undercarriage is great, so new skins would be all that is needed. The interior is in pretty good shape for the age. The front buckets have your typical seam splits but the rear is excellent. Some of the trim is dented, there is some rust spots here and there the drivers door linkage needs adjusting, typical 40 year old car stuff. It can use a tune up as well. The car is not perfect but for someone looking to build a nice street car or hop into an original and reliably cruise the streets this is the car for you.
