1975 Honda CB500T Motorcycle 1988 Purchased bike with 11,976 miles, put on new tires, brakes and tune up 1989 She ran fine but would foul the right spark plug, compression was a little low 1990 Took emblems of gas tank, had tank emblem area filled, had gas tank and side covers painted Red 1991 Pulled engine off bile and did the top end. I had the cylinders honed and the head rebuilt, it had a bad valve 1992 Bought a house 1993 Got married to a wonderful woman 1994 Had first kid 1995 Put engine back together with new rings and gaskets etc. 1996 Put engine back on bike 1997 Had my second kid 2000 Got a new battery, got the engine to fire but the front brake was seized 2005 Got the engine to fire but did no other work on the bike 2006 -2010 built an addition on my house, revamped every room 2011 decided to let somebody else put her on the road and enjoy her. Actual mileage is 12,298. Engine turns over with the kick start; I did not charge the battery and try to run the engine. Shop Manual, Helmet, and some extra parts included. Mirrors are included; I forgot to put them on for the pics. The bike is not missing any parts. I have the filter boxes but again did not bolt them on for the pic. Chrome has some pits, the worst area is the bottom of the front fender and there is a pic of this. Engine needs to have timing checked, front brake is still seized. Pick up in Allendale NJ only or I will build a crate for an additional $100. You will need to hire a shipping company and have the crate picked up. My zip code is 07401. The bike has not been on the road since 1990 (this should be clear from the posting). It is not road worthy today; do not plan to ride her home. The engine has not fired in 5 years but is not seized (this should be clear from the posting). To put her on the road the battery needs to be charged, the engine needs to be fired up and set up, timing, carbs etc. The brakes need to be checked out - as I stated the posting the front brake is seized. I have no intent to be misleading - if there are any questions, please ask.
