Up for sale is my 1966 mustang coupe, i have owned the car for the last 10 years, it is lisenced and has a current state inspection. It has been garaged and has not seen rain since i have owned it. I have done most of the restoration myself and have not cut any corners in my work. The car is very well maintained and restored with an eye for every detail. It pains me to sell it but i have a young family and have little time to devote to the car any more, and i'm currently in the market for a more practical family vehicle so i need to sell it and make room in my garage. The following is a list of restoration/aftermarket parts and modifications on the car. EXTERIOR The body work has been done by a local body shop, the gaps look very good and the work is exceptional. All the sheetmetal aside from the doors and trunk lid are new, the car is completely rust free. Both bumpers have the carrage bolts removed and the holes have been filled for a smooth and more modern look. The vents on the cowl have also been removed and filled in. The wheels are 17 inch polished centerline scorpions they have no scrapes or dents and look new. The car is finished in satin black and looks fair and can be showed as is but i dont want to misrepresent the vehicle in any way so i must say that the car needs to be block sanded and painted to be considered show quality. Up close there are imperfections in the paint finish but due to the satin black they dont show up in the pictures. INTERIOR Everything inside is new and has been redone recently and it is flawless, this is where the car stands out from the rest. Dynamat sound deadener has been installed on the entire floor and inside the doors to eliminate the rattles and cut down on the engine noise. The headliner and upholstery have been professionally done to a high standard. It has new carpet, dashpad, rear deck, door panels, and cranks. I installed diamond plate on the floor, doors and guage cluster to add a unique race inspired look to the interior. I also added autometer carbon fiber faced guages for the same reason (and yes they are all functional and working). I also put in a billet specialities chrome and leather wrapped steering wheel. I have an Infinity sound system with a kenwood head unit as well. The face of the cd player flips over and looks like there is nothing there when the car is off. In the dash are 2-3.5 inch infinity speakers with tweeters. I made custom kick panels to hold a pair of infinity 6.5 inch component speakers with the tweeters flush mounted in the door panels. Their are also a pair of 6x9 infinity speakers in the rear deck. The system is powered by a large 4 channel alpine amp in the trunk and has a monster capaciter to eliminate the stereo from draining the battery down. ENGINE/TRANS/DRIVETRAIN The motor is a 289 v8, it has headers and has been bored .030. It has a holley 2 barrel carb. I just installed new plugs, wires, and a distibuter. The engine is sound, It is well maintained and runs smooth. the car is equipped with a 4 speed toploader transmission and a hurst shifter. it also has a ford 9 inch rear end and 4.11 gears installed. SECURITY I have a viper 590 security system insalled in the car. it has keyless entry acctuators in the door panels (this means the car will lock and unlock using the viper key fob). It also has a proximity sensor on it with adjustable sensitivity (this is a box that allows the alarm to sense movement around the vehicle and set it off before someone breaks in). Also included in the auction are new weatherstripping pieces and the exterior chrome window trim both front and back. please feel free to email me with any questions concerning the car. As i stated the car needs to be block sanded and painted to be considered show quality. there is a ding in the right quarter (you can see that in one of my pics). there are also fine sanding marks in the quarters where it was welded and a ding in the door.
