Just in Time for Summer!! Shes not a beauty, but she could be! I have to be honest and say that I envy the person that will put this girl back on the road where she belongs! The story: I bought her about 10 years ago when I moved to Colorado. Put a lot of time and energy into her.... -Removed all the trim which I still have (including chrome bumpers) -Replaced the points with an electronic ignition system -Installed new calipers and and disks all the way around -Took off the convertible top (I wanted to make use of the back seats & never intended to drive it with the top up) I still have the frame, but it will need a new top if that is what you want to do with her -Took off the exterior door handles and filled in the recessed part of the door (again I never intended to drive her with the top up) -Bought new tires (still have the nubs) -Rough sanded and primed -Bough new in the box hubcaps That was what I was able to do with her the first two summers... She has been garaged the entire time I have had her, but that was the last time I started, or touched her (3 kids and a wife took her spot in line)... My list for her still included: -Block sand and prime -Bleed the breaks -Paint -Reinstall trim, bumpers, etc -New windshield -Drive her every weekend with the air in my hair! Since she has been left for so long I would think it best to drain the gas tank and lines... what ever is in there has surly turned into some good moonshine. The last time I started her she ran fine, but its been the better part of a decade that she has sat in my garage since then. You will get her along with all the extras that I have for her.
