1969 Chevrolet C-10 short bed pick up truck. the truck has 60,000 original miles, the original title in the original envelope. the bill of sale in the original envelope, the warranty card still attached to the info folder. the factory owners manuel and the dealer sales brochure from when the truck was new. the truck was bought from a small local Chevrolet dealer ( still in business different name ). and stayed local. This truck has NO RUST, NO ACCIDENTS, original sheet metal. the paint is original with some thin spots on bed side and small dings. ( all shown in photo,s ). the engine is a 307 cubic inch and the turbo 350 transmission are original to the truck. this truck was never abused in any way. As I was told by the original owners widow he would never allow any one to throw any thing in the bed. they would have to set it in. witch is evident from the condition of the bed. The following is a list of safety, reliability, performance and personal upgrades made to the truck. the engine and transmission was pulled and cleaned , resealed, gaskets and new timing chain. did not need it but the engine was out and easy to do. engine compartment was professionally detailed, with new decals. New a/c was added using the factory outlets on the dash along with the factory controls, with upgraded radiator. Later model factory power steering was added with box, steering linkage, pump hoses. Edelbrock aluminum intake, carb. air cleaner, billet aluminum valve covers were added. ( I have the stock intake and carb. and also the stock wheels and dog dish hub caps ). New seat covers were added in matching colors along with a lift in or out center console with cup holders and a cup holders to insert into ashtray. New brakes complete, ( just now done ) wheel cyl. shoes, hyd. hoses, hold down kits, master cyl. the old brakes were not bad, but original, drums were perfect. replaced the ujoints, carrier barring. they were still good, but original to the truck. The tires are Uniroyal gts tiger paws 275x60x15. the wheels are alloy pacers 15x8. New chrome bumpers front and rear, complete dual exhaust system with flo masters. included with truck is a period correct 8 track am/fm stereo radio with a new antenna. Also included is a photo album of all the work and upgrades done. needless to say all belts, hoses, clamps, oil and filter, fuel filter, brake fluid, thermostat, antifreeze are new. this is one owner one driver truck, never abused, well maintained survivor. You can drive this truck any were with confidence. It,s only original once, can be returned to stock very easily. As most of you know thousands was spent to upgrade, maintain, purchase a truck of this caliber. I purchased this truck for a life long friend, it was his dream truck for 40 years. he is no longer allowed to drive. he has the same medical condition as the late Liz Taylor. he can not change that nor can I. If it were not for that the truck would not be for sale.
