1969 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE 1 This corvette had a complete frame-off rotisserie restoration eight years ago and has been stored in a climate controlled garage. It's an all matching numbers car and is very presentable with about 8,000 miles after the build. It had all of the frame bushing, tie rod, suspension, motor and everything was completely done. I have the photo book with seventy pictures of the restoration and I scanned twelve of them and put them close to the end before the undercarriage pictures. I will tell the story of the car as we go through the pictures. 2 This is an air conditioned car I have the bracket and the compressor and lines but they are not on the car now. 3 Yes, the headlights work properly and the windshield wiper work too. 4 I put alot of pictures in full sun, partly cloudy and some in shaded areas so you see the car in every light scenario. I also put a couple under flourescent light, so you know what the car looks like in all situations. This car shows the orange tint in bright sun and with shade it looks dark red. As you can see in this picture the sun makes it look bad. I take natural pictures and they are not enhanced by photoshop to look better than they really are. 5 THE PAINT IS VERY GOOD AND DOES NOT HAVE MANY ROCK PECKS AT ALL. ZOOM IN AND LOOK DOWN LOW, THE CHROME IS VERY NICE AND THE STAINLESS IS TOO. THE BODY IS LASER STRAIGHT WITH NO RIPPLES FROM AN ORBITAL SANDER. THIS CAR WAS DONE BY PROFESSIONALS. 6 Tires are cooper cobras and have less than 250 miles. All of the emblems, chrome and the mirrors are fantastic. 7 The kenwood radio and cd player sound great even with the top down. The speakers behind the seat are large pioneer. 8 This is a 350 - four speed car and is perfect in every way, absolutly no surprises. 9 10 If you need to ask questions, please look at the pictures and description first. THANKS! 11 The paint is fantastic for a car with 8,000 miles on it. When the top is down you can see where the top sets on the deck. The top folds nicely and that rear window is nice and clear. 12 13 This car drives and handles as good as it looks. It has the new fiberglass leaf springs in the rear suspension that make it ride much better than the original. 14 This car has both tops and the hard top is in excellent condition. I like the cloth top the best and I did not take pictures with the hard top on. I was told It has not been on very often. I did scan pictures that show it on the car. 15 16 17 18 19 20 All the turn signals and lights work just as they should. The lens were all replaced too. 21 22 23 24 25 26 The paint mirrors everything around it as you see my reflection. 27 The paint is showing the reflection of the asphalt in the door. 28 29 30 The louvers are excellent. 31 32 Notice the reflection in the paint, it is bright and shiney. 33 The car runs real good and the holley works like it should. The car sound great with 2.5" stainless exhaust and the mufflers sound just right. Not to loud and yet enough to make the four speed sound great. 34 35 Everything under the hood is in the proper place and the engine was completely rebuilt a couple thousand miles before the car was completely taken apart and restored. The motor was cleaned and painted and put back in before the frame before the body was replaced. The wiring is neat with no wires hanging down anywhere inside or under the hood. 36 The interior is neat and clean and looks new with very little signs of wear and no fading. The seat belts are in the car and everything works. The four speed shifts great. It's too good to be true. I purchased this car from a man that truly loved it. I asked every question I could think of but not about the shifter. I think the shifter is a hurst with the factory correct shifter welded in place of the hurst shaft. It is truly fun to shift smooth and tight just as it should. 37 The only flaw in the inside of the car is the rear view mirror is discolored. 38 39 This car is geared just right for all around driving. All the gauges work, the oil pressure is great and the temperature runs where it should. I do have the factory original radio that goes with the car. 40 The miles will be just a bit more because it is for sale and could be driven some during the auction. 41 42 43 44 ALL THE WEATHERSTRIPPING WAS REPLACED. 45 46 47 I have seventy pictures of the restoration so I scanned just a few and they are mixed. All pictures are 4x6 and they are not real good, but you can see how the car looks. Notice the car in the back ground this car was done right by professionals. 48 As you can see in these pictures were taken with no sun on a cloudy day. The car shows that dark red without the sun and it sure looked good in the snow. I got these pictures from the guy I purchased it from. He would not think about getting it out to drive. 49 50 THIS IS A GOOD CAR IN EVERY WAY AND WILL BE FOR MANY YEARS TO COME. 51 I put this car on the rack and inspected it as soon as I could and cleaned it . It was very easy to clean and it looks great for a car that has been driven. I touched up the bellhousing and oil pan. The back all looked so good I just clear coated it and left it alone. Everything looks great under the car. All of the drive links and axles still have the silver and the rear end as well. 52 The car had alot of money spent underneath with everything replaced or rebuilt. To me the best part of this car is it has been driven and has been trouble free. 53 54 55 56 57 58 59 Terms of Sale The buyer will submit a NON-REFUNDABLE $2,000.00 deposit within 48 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. Deposit will be made through Paypal. No sort of checks will be accepted for deposit. Buyer agrees to pay the remaining balance due within 7 days of the end of the auction. Balance will be paid by wire transfer. All financial transactions must be completed before removal of vehicle. If deposit or balance is not received within time frame indicated, buyer will forfeit the right to purchase. If you cannot meet the terms of the auction, DO NOT BID! There is no warranty with the car. It is being sold AS IS, WHERE IS. Keep in mind that this is a 42 year old car and the way that I see things versus the way someone else sees them can differ. I encourage the buyer to look good and be responsible for the decision that they make. That is the reason I put a large amount of large pictures on my add and I have 100% feed back. The buyer is responsible for all costs for the car after the auction is over. Also, with my insurance company, the coverage ends when the auction ends and there is a buyer. The buyer will need to obtain coverage as soon as the auction is over. I will keep the car for up to 3 weeks in a garage free of charge unless other arrangements are made.
