Mercedes-Benz 450 SL 1975 Convertible! Here is a beautiful, all original, 1975, un-restered and untouched, real project for MB lovers. The car definitely needs body work here and there. There is rust and a couple of bad panels under the fender (fr). The floor panel behind the passanger seat will need some attention, also the bottom of the trunk. But again, it is PROJECT car. Other than that, the car starts (little bit harder when its cold but when its warm its fine) and runs, transmission is strong and shifts through all of the gears. I am not sure if there is a posi-lock on the back, but most of the people who have seen the car say there is one. All original interior, very good condition (beside the paint) which is not bad for its age but needs a new paint job. I changed the spark plugs, oil and oil filter. Also it has $150 brand new batery. Anyway, I love, love, love this car, but I have minimal time to work on it so it has been sitting in my garage all winter. I drove the car all last summer with no problems, I even passed MA inspection, I did try to sell it 4-5 months ago but the only thing I got were 7 spams so that discouraged me a lot and I gave up. I also had a couple of potential buyers that I ignored because to the last moment I believed I sold the car, but instead it was fraud. So, potential buyers & project lovers, please take this beauty out of my hands.
