Vehicle Detail

This is a no-reserve auction! This was a 1937 4-door slantback. It has been cut with the intent of building a '37 Phantom Woody. Unfortunately, I don't have the means to complete the project at this time. I hate to sell this, as it is a great start for a project. All 4 fenders are rust-free, the cowl and floorboards are in very good shape, the grille is original and straight. The running boards are rough, but not rusted through, and could be salvaged. The chassis has been prepped with all-new TCI front Mustang II style suspension with a power rack and disc brakes. The brakes are the same as an '87 Camaro, so parts are very easy to source. The rear suspension has been converted, also using a TCI kit, to a parallel leaf spring setup. It is fully boxed for rigidity with added reinforcements in the x-member. The rear diff is a '72 GM 10 bolt out of a Nova. It has all new seals, brakes, wheel cylinders, and brake hardware. The master cylinder is installed and plumbed. It just needs to be filled with fluid and bled. I have a new fuel tank, body-to-frame rubber mount kit, and Walker radiator that goes with the sale. The engine in the car is a low mileage 350 with a TH350 trans. Both are in great shape, as I had them in another car that I drove for several hundred miles before dismantling it. Also included is a complete steering column from a 1953 Pontiac (see photos), which I was planning to use because it is really cool. I also have all 4 of the original doors, which are in excellent condition, save for one or two bullet holes. Additionally, the original seat frames go with the car. This car is a great project, and will be a great rod when finished. I will bolt the fenders on the car for shipping and I will build a crate for the rest of the loose parts. I have tried to take photos of all the parts that go with the car. All the parts that I have for this car are included in the sale. See the photos below for most of them. Any questions, feel free to ask. I will prep the car for shipping, and I will help to load it, but it is offered as a pickup only item, so you will need to arrange shipping or pickup. This is the car before it was cut. The original suspension and the wheels are not included in this auction. The manual trans in this photo is not included - it was merely there for mock-up purposes The shell of the car is gone, but the rear deck lid shown in this photo is included. Rust free!
