I purchased this Rivera from the original owner (I have the original title plus a clear title in my name) 20 years ago and immediately had the body work completed and the car painted. I then had the upholstry redone in the original pattern and put the car in heated indoor storage where it has remained ever since. I had intended to finish the cosmetics and do a mechanical restoration but I just never got around to it. I cannot verify mileage so please do not assume that it is correct. Now, after all these years, I am substantially reducing my collectioon to just a few cars so it needs to find a new home. The car has never been licensed and on the road regularly while I have owned it but it does indeed run, drive, shift, and stop. Other than that I know very little about the mechanical condition although, the last few weeks I have driven it around my land several times. I would certainly guess it would need some mechanical restoration. It does have a rebuilt Dynaflow transmission that comes with it although it may not even need it. The seats, door panels, headliner, and dash are all quite nice and the power windows do work. It has an add on air conditioner which worked fine when I bought car and, most likely, would still work with a recharge. All glass is good and the chrome is all average to well above average. Although the tires do hold air fine there is evidence of dry rot. By the way, the car was wet when I took the pictures and you may see some water bubbles on it and the bumpers so don't be concerned-----they are nothing more than water spots. Unfortunately the car is stored a ways from my home or I would have gone back and taken pictures of the car dry. It would probably look better than it does in these pictures. Car is located in central Virginia and you are also welcome to come look at it It is sold with no warranty of any kind. I value my perfect ebay score so please do not bid if you are expecting a perfect car for very little money. The car has had a lot of work done to it but it still needs to have minor cosmetics and mechanical restoration completed.
