We are the second owners of this great car and have had it for 2 years. The original owner had it maintained at the dealer where it was originally purchased and every receipt for service is included with the car as well as all of the owners manuals and even the original window sticker! This car was over $42,000.00 when new. This car has been very well maintained and everything works well for a car with as many miles as it has. It has most if not all of the available options that could be had on it. It has been involved in a few accidents and the receipts from a very reputable collision shop, likely used by the dealership that sold it, are also included. All collision damage appears to have been cosmetic in nature. I have kept up the maticulas maintanence on it since we bought it 2 years ago and those receipts are also included. This car goes through the snow effortlessly and the main reason we are selling it is she is ready for a newer A6, she liked it that much! As with any car that has this many miles, it has its little issues here and there but it has never left her stranded and always starts and goes from point a to point b and has some pep as well. The check engine light is always on, but my experience with high mileage vehicles tells me that this is not abnormal, so many sensors on these cars, it doesn't take much. I have 228,000 miles on my work truck and the check engine light has been on for well over 100,000 miles and I wouldn't hesitate to jump in either one of these cars and drive long distances. Tires are decent, so you won't have to worry about that for some time. A very little bit of rust is coming through above the drivers side rear wheel lip and it has its share of chips, scuffs and scratches, but overall the car looks great and could be easily detailed by a good paint shop to take care of some of these issues if you so choose. It does need a ball joint replaced and I will do that if the car goes over $3,500.00 as well as a fresh oil and filter change. Reserve is low and the high bidder will get a lot of car for the money.
