This is a running driving car. (BTW, I have parts cars too.) The problem is, I love these Mercedes diesels and maybe have a tendancy toward being a Mercedes diesel "hoarder?" I need the space and want to clean up the place a bit. I have several other running Mercedes diesels and just cannot manage it all. I tried to title this car, i.e. re-create the title, but the gals down at the tag/tax office were not inclined to help, and simply said "all you need is the bill of sale to tag/register/drive this year car." I have earlier paperwork and story on the car and the way it looks, the original owner passed away. His wife / family members had the title signed, but never bothered to take it down to the courthouse (in 2002) to properly complete transfer. The nephew bought the car (with a bill of sale) and found himself too busy for properly restoring the car, and sold it to me a couple years ago (with bill of sale and file of earlier paperwork.) And me, the hoarder, now find I've gone overboard and need to lighten up on Mercedes diesels. )
