This is an 87 5.0 hatchback painted last september. All parts have been installed less than 3000 miles ago except the exhaust and wheels/tires which is 2 1/4 with headers and an H pipe. I have two in the box dynomax mufflers and two extra KYB GR-2 front shocks that go with the car if you want them. The rear is a 279, it runs 17 inch aluminum wheels and 245/35 tires and has a cowl hood. I have owned the car since 2005 and it has not been driven in winter and garaged except when at the shop. Its lowered, handles great runs awesome and starts every time. The interior is very clean no rips tears or cracks. Its the same story I take public trans now and have another stang, a truck and a harley. House projects and pressure from the wife a toy had to go so it is the 87 (not the 78 stang) up for sale. Really I dont want to sell this but it would make a great weekend car or a daily driver as it is not too built up. This car looks, sounds and drives great. I have a clear Nj title in possession. With that said here are the details. You can trailer the car or drive it home. The Good (added under 3000 mi ago): fresh paint (Sept), lower springs and KYB GR-2 shocks all the way around, BBK SSI intake with 70 mm throttle body, underdrive pulley with A/C elimantor, transmission was rebuilt, brakes, plugs, distributer, alternator and battery, panasonic cd player with four new speakers( in doors and back by the seat in factory location). The Bad: the windshield is cracked, there is a vacuum leaked that popped up three months ago, and there is a bad ground or a short under the dash, the radio stopped working last summer and the door ajar bell goes off when the lights are turned on. The Ugly: there are two paint chips, one on the hatch one on the roofI have a can of the mathcing paint, one is above the drivers side tailight ( f-in lazy UPS driver tried to squeeze by the stang and a fence, he denied it they wouldn't pay to fix it), the other is same side where the hatch meets the roof, they are barely noticable but there.
