This van was born August 1981, it is a Vanagon L. It has air conditioning that has been disconnected and could be easily made operable. This van is a very well preserved example and shows absolutely no rust any where. The paint is the original brown and the second tan color has been added later. The exterior shows a few bumps and bruises, nothing serious. The tires are good and not new. The windshield has a bb shot blemish on the drivers side of the window. The van has excellent tires that are good for another 30k miles. Engine is in excellent shape as is the automatic transmission. All axels have new boots and the brakes are excellent. The car runs excellently and is California smogged. The interior is clean and is in great condition. The van has a sink, stove, refrigerator, and 2 tables. It has new canvas under the good top and sleeps two upstairs. The van has the curtain that goes around the cockpit and the screen that goes in the hatch opening. The front seats swivel for a cozy card game or nice family dinner. The front seats have good covers on them but could stand an upholstery job. As can be expected from a 30+ year old vehicle, there are imperfections. The rear seat cushion has a burn hole and is really clean other than the hole. This could be one of the best , rust-free air-cooled vans you will be able to find. Ready for years of trouble free travel and fun. I know these vans and this is a great one.
