1985 BMW K-Series

1985 K100rt 87000 miles.Bike runs but has been used extremely rarely in the last few years. Cosmetically it is in good condition, better then most people expect for a bike of this age.Oil was changed on regular and consistent basis through out its life. It has a Corbin touring saddle, hard cases, a new fuel pump and a heavy duty military grade battery. The bike comes with its original tools and owners manual. Last time I started the bike was around Christmas and it developed a small oil leak, based on a visual inspection I believe it is in the valve cover gasket. This is the first and only oil leak the bike has. It has never left an oil leak on my garage floor in the 10 years that I owned it. In my opinion the bike could be brought back to its former glory with nothing more then a good quality tune up. Besides the gas pump which has been changed the bike has been very reliable and solid. I hate to sell it but I'd rather see this beautiful thing fly again even if it is under somebody else's hands.Please bid only if you are genuinely interested.
