Up for sale is a 1999 dodge truck. It has been well used, and has always been pretty reliable for me. The motor is a 5.2. The oil has always been changed between 4000-6000 miles since I have owned it. It was purchased by me at about 220,000 miles. I have always used schaeffers syn. 9000 5-30. as of latelty the oil pressure has been dropping off at an idle, so I have added a qt of 20-50 schaeffers and that seems to have taken care of that. Once the motor is warmed up it is quiet with no abnormal pings or knocks, but with the miles on it I am sure some things are getting worn. Right now there is a shake when you use the over drive at low rpms, but runs fine with the o/d off. When the ac works it blows real cold. I am thinking there is a worn wire somewhere, I just never drove it long enough or far enough at a time to worry about it. As to the body, I would say its in fairly decent shape for its age. It needs new ball joints There is a small rust hole in the bottom of the tail gate and also in the rear pass. fender. Also there is some lighter rust along the very bootom edges of the cab and bed, but this seems to just be surface rust where the paint has chipped off. Inside the cab the dash doesnt have any cracks, but the fold out cup holder is broke. It will be included, as I am sure it can be fixed. The drivers side seat has a tear in the fabrick, and all the seats and floor could use a good scrubbing. Has a ten disk changer under the seat that works. Somewhere in the hookups for the cd an antenna wire has been unhooked. I would say the truck is in decent shape for the age. Car check show a lein still on truck. We just had a new title reissued in February. I have the new title and it is clear. This is the second listing for this truck. Please do not bid if you are not a serious bidder.
