Vehicle Detail

My car is a 1965 Pontiac Tempest/ GTO Clone. It has a 326, 2 bbl, M20 wide ratio 4 speed, 3.23 open. I use the car everyday. I would feel very comfortable having someone fly in and drive it home. Some of the pictures are from when I lived in Ohio, I live outside Washington DC now. Feel free to make an offer, I would like to get somewhere in the 7's for it. Email me if you would like to see more pictures, I have plenty of all areas of the car. It is literally my daily driver, I don't have a newer model car. Car is garage kept. I would describe it as a very good survivor car that needs a paint job, if you are a car guy you will like this car. I tried to put alot of pics on the listing showing the normal problem areas. I have this and another oId Mopar and that's all I drive. I am selling it just to find something different. I have owned the car for about 3 years and put 10K miles on it. It came with a 3 on the tree and I put the 4 speed in it. I have all the original 3 speed parts, brackets, linkage, all comes with car. The rear end makes noise, it's been noisy since I bought the car. All the gauges work, all the idiot lights work, trunk light works, dimmer works, dome light, horn works, am/fm radio works, all headlights work, blinkers work, turn signals work, wipers work, trunk light works, heater works, cigarette light works. Speedo needs a longer cable, when I switched to the 4 speed the speedo cable wasn't quite long enough. The interior picture shows no carpet, I have it set aside if someone came by they could see the floors. It has rear-defrost, it works. Only thing electric that doesn't work are the back-up lights. I haven't installed the switch on the trans. I have not done anything to the engine. I did put in a pertronix under distributor cap ignition module, it has no points. 4 speed shifts like butter. The clutch has plenty of meat left on it. I had both the front and rear windshields re-sealed, they do no leak. No leaks anywhere on the car. Trunk does not leak, I re-sealed the tailight housings with the kit from AMES. It has a new radiator from AMES, runs about 190, doesn't not overheat in DC traffic. New starter and water pump, belts, hoses. It gets 15 mpg around town, 20 highway. I had the brakes done last fall, 4 wheel drum, new shoes on the front, turned the drums. Rears were fine. As far as rust, there is a small 1/2 penny size hole by the gas pedal, a few small rust holes in the trunk. The lower left rear quarter has some rust. Small dent in the drivers door. But the rest of the body is very solid. It obvisouly needs a paint job, but is in tremendous shape. If you would like to make me an offer or come by and drive the car, feel free to call, I live outside Washington DC, Ryan 321-917-4368
