Up for sale is a car you don't see very often. It's an original 1989 GT 5.0 convertible with a 5 speed. The car is mainly stock with the exception of the exhaust and custom interior. It hasn't been pulled apart and destroyed like most out there. Mechanically the car is sound. This car was built in the later part of 1989 so it has the 140mph speedo and the mass air flow sensor. It has a solid working Borg WarnerT5 5-speed transmission. The clutch is good and it does not grind at all. The motor runs perfect and starts right up. There is also a recent altenator, waterpump and fuel pump in it. The interior is custom and is in overall good shape. The headrests were embroided with the previous owners nick-name but that could easily be replaced. The top is new (not the back window) it also works perfectly going up and down with no problems at all. The tires are in decent shape. The head lights are newer and the body is straight. This is one of those cars that you want to get your hands on. Although it could used some work it needs very little. I usually get cars and sell them right away. I actually drove this car for close to three months before I decided to sell it. Its fast and a really great car. I set the reserve at a very reasonable price to help move this car.
