1971 Plymouth GTX 440 automatic all matching numbers. Factory paint code is EL5 Butterscotch/Bahama Yellow, all original Black interior with the exception of the new year one seat upholstery set that has been installed,factory bucket seats with buddy seat. Factory 8 3/4 rear end with 3.23 gears and sure grip posi unit. All original panels and floors,two owner car that has always been garaged and lovingly cared for, car has always been in the dry central valley of California and it shows, Zero rust! The car has had one repaint approx. 6 years ago. Paint still looks very nice but it does have a couple of scratches in it, on the trunk and near the passenger door handle, see pictures.The Factory number matching 440 was just rebuilt and has only approx. 20 test miles on in since being installed. I have the receipt from the machine shop that built the motor to document the rebuild. The number matching 727 automatic transmission was just reinstalled in the car at the same time, the transmission was rebuilt approx a year ago but was not put back into the car untill now when the 440 was put back in. When i bought this car it had a good running 383 and non number matching 727 trans in it, but it came with the number matching 440 and 727 trans, so approx 1 year ago i had the trans rebuilt and just a few weeks ago got around to getting the 440 rebuilt. I do not have the receipt for the rebuild on the transmission, but do have the one for the motor. I am including a picture of both the motor number and transmission number and also the fender tag. This is a factory A/C car but the A/C was removed by the previous owner, also i do have brand new arm rests for the car that come with it as you can see in the pictures the arm rests on the car have a couple cracks in them so the new owner will be getting the new set i have for the car.If you have any questions please ask and i will be happy to answer.
