Up for auction is a 1964 GMC short wheel base fleetside. The cab needs driver inner and outer rockers and passenger side cab corner has a bad bend in it so it will need to be replaced as well. The passenger door is bent and rusty as well. The cab is solid everywhere else. The drivers side bed panel is pretty beat up the passenger side is useable and fixable with little bodywork. Front panel and braces look good, the tailgate is not rotten but twisted a little. I have a driver front fender that has been patched on the rear bottom, also have a hood and a driver door that will require some rust repair. Front bumper is very straight and a driver quality. Inner fenders are there and solid as well. Factory seat is in the truck and still restoreable with very little work. Glovebox lid instrument panel etc is all in place. The truck has an automatic cable floor shifter installed. Gas tanks is in place and good. The truck has power steering! The rear end is from a later model Chevy truck with 5 on 5 bolt pattern. Front is still six lug drum brakes. All the wiring is still in place and looks to be good. Wheel tubs are not rotten and are useable as well.
