This truck has low low miles on it! These are the actual miles 17,525!!!! This will go up slightly since I use this vehicle to go work. It is a very heavy duty truck that is capable of doing anything you want. I have owned the truck for around 5 years now and have loved every minute of it. I have not abused the truck and the owner before me did not either. I bought the truck from a retired army man who got it when he retired from service. He used it to drive in some parades but all in all that was about it. The truck has a 6.2L, 379ci diesel engine. That means that this engine hasn't begun to be woken up yet. When I got the truck some of the glowplugs did not work so I replaced all of them. The glowplug relay card went out on the truck, which from what I have heard happens to most of these trucks. Instead of putting a new relay card in the glowplugs were hooked up to a firing toggle momentary switch. Hold the switch to heat the glowplugs, release the switch and turn the key the rest of the way. It is a cheaper solution than replacing the card, however you could still replace the card if you win the truck, you can find them for sale every now and then. The transmission is a Turbo-Hydramatic 400 (Th400), it shifts smooth and I have never felt is slipping at all. The tranfer case is a NP208. The four wheel drive works perfectly with its manual hubs. The front axle is a Dana 60 and the rear axle is a GM 14 bolt with 4.56 gears. The truck is a dual battery 24 volt starting system but runs on 12 volts after the truck is started. The black out lights (for driving with Night Vision Goggles) still work as well! I have recently replaced one of the batteries. The other battery I replaced a little while after I bought the truck. The two Leece Neville alternators work without a problem. This truck is pretty much the same as it came from its time on the front lines with the military with some conveniences. I have put in a radio with a couple speakers for some tunes, and I have put in a cb with dual antennaes. I have recently put a dash cover on since the old dash was suncracked and looked bad. Since I have had the truck I have also replaced the heater core since that was leaking, and I have put the tires that are on it right now. Now for the only bad thing I can think of with this truck. The drivers side vent window pin has broken. Other than that I do not have anything bad to say about it. I have used the truck for picking up construction materials for our house, pulling a boat, pulling out some shrubs in the yard (this was quite fun), making trips to drop of trash, and driving to work every so often. I want to sell the truck to buy something a little more long trip and family oriented that is the only reason. I wish I could keep this as well but I just don't have a use for it any more and would like someone else to use this low mileage truck. I have a clear title for this truck and have never had any problems. I will try to answer any questions that you have to the best of my ability. I know people today usually buy a vehicle on looks but lets face facts you will not find another diesel truck with such low miles for the price you will get this one. You can get it and give it a beautiful shiny paint job and be the envy of any truck guy once they find out what you have rolling on the truck.
