Up for auction is a sweet 1966 Ford Mustang with the original V8 289, and a three speed manual transmission. The car runs and drives great, and the motor has about 500 miles on her since she was rebuilt, and I have the receipts for the work also. The car is a very solid daily driver and she was just repainted about 6 months ago. The car has tons of new parts inside and out. The car runs great hear in Vegas, and all the gauges work, all the lights work too. She s just a nice ride that turns head, and get thumbs up every where she is driven. There is NO RUST issues with the car, which is great! The car and the pics will speak for themselves, and there is NO RESERVE on the car. The high bidder gets this nice ride in time for spring! VIN: 6R07C160294 ENGINE/ TRANSMISSION: The engine is the original 289 that was just rebuilt. She was bored .030 over, and outfitted with new pistons, rings, bearings, mild lift cam, and she purrs like a kitten. The car starts up instantly and runs GREAT! The motor also received a new water pump, new starter, new belts, and hoses. The car was treated to a new radiator to keep her running cool. The car has an older dual exhaust system on her also. The motor is sealed up nice and tight with no leaks at all, nice and dry under her! The transmission is the original 3 speed, that has a new centerforce clutch, pressure plate and a new throw out bearing too. The clutch has about 2500 miles on it since it was replced, and has many more miles left on her. The trans is sealed up nice and tight, and shifts through the gears perfectly. INTERIOR/ EXTERIOR: The interior sports a new dash pad, new carpet, new seat upholstery, new door panels, and new arm rest bases. The car does need to have a headliner installed, as I have a new headliner that goes with the car. The windows all roll up and down like they should. The steering wheel is the original and does have a few cracks in the wheel. The gauges all work correctly on the dash, heater works fine, blinkers work, and all the exterior lights work fine on the car. The horn works like it should also. The exterior was repainted a Viper Red about 6 months ago, and does have a few very small chips from being driven around town. The chrome is decent around the car, and overall she looks great. The rear quarters were replaced some time in the past and the work was well done. The undercarriage of the car looks great, with NO RUST ISSUES at all. I took two picks of the floor pans also. The car still has her original hubs caps with brand new tires! INFO: The car is a DAILY DRIVER TYPE CAR!!!. The car is NOT perfect by any means but it’s 45 years old also.
