Vehicle Detail
1928 Dodge Brothers 4 door sedan hot rod. Has the "Rat Rod" look, but is definitely no rat. No rusty junk yard parts, everything was new, top of the line stuff. Original "early 28" Dodge Brothers body (pre-Chrysler) unchopped, but channeled 5". Paint is an epoxy chassis black, not flat primer. More easily cleaned, but has that suede look. Flames curtsey of Monster Energy Drink. Roof center panel is black vinyl over a metal and masonite frame. The original chassis has been modified, fully boxed, with an added "X" crossmember. 1967 Chevy steel crank, small journal 327 smallblock, with Trick Flow Twisted wedge aluminum heads, 292 duration Comp cam, TRW forged flattop pistons, Weiand Team G single plane intake manifold, 750 Holley double pumper, Lunati roller rockers, 8 quart Moroso deep pan and pickup, Cloyes "Street" Tru-Roller timing gears and chain, and vintage Edelbrock valve covers. (Edelbrock logo has been milled from valve covers, and NOS Camaro 327 fender emblems installed in place.) Edelbrock fuel pump, Earls' AN fuel line fittings and braided hose, Holley fuel pressure guage, and Speedway billet fuel filter. MSD 6A ignition, MSD Pro Billet mechanical advance distributor, and MSD Blaster tower coil. Powerglide short tail transmission with B&M 2nd gear clutch hub, and a 3500 stall TCI converter, also tranny cooler installed. (It's a Vega 'glide with the cooling holes in the bellhousing.) Lokar powerglide shifter. Shortened 9" Ford rear axle, 3.83 Richmond gears with a Detroit Locker. Custom built Inland driveshaft. Optima battery. Early GM tilt/telescopic (Cadillac, I think) steering column. Afco custom made aluminum radiator, with original Dodge Brothers logo Motometer on radiator cap (not functional) and a radiator overflow tank courtesy of Monster Energy drink. Super Bell 5" drop tube front axle, '39 Ford spindles, Flaming River Vega steering box, Borgeson steering u-joints, 11" disc brakes, braided stainless brake lines. 15" Center Line Convo Pro wheels, with Hoosier Pro Street radials, 25x7.5x15 front, 29x15.5x15 rear. Jet Hot ceramic coated "Lakes" style headers, 2 1/2" dual exhaust with 40 series Flowmaster mufflers. K&N flamed billet air filter and valve cover breather. King Bee halogen headlights with visors, 39 Ford tail lights, (no turn signals). Drivers side windshield wiper present but not wired. Stewart Warner Wings 6 guage package, with programmable speedo, all electric guages. Custom made stainless steel fuel tank, approx 12 gallon. Under floor manual master cylinder with check valves and adjustable proportioning valve. Disc front, drum rear brakes. Probably a bunch more good stuff I'm forgetting to mention. Windshield, rear, and rear side glass is all new laminated safety glass. Ford Probe (?) bucket seats. Chopped rear seat to fit. No carpet, bare all metal with rino line. The body of this car is all steel, no wood holding anything together. Dodge Brothers bodies were all welded, the wood that was in them only was there to hold the upholstery. The rust that was present was all repaired with fully welded steel, with minimal body filler. No huge holes filled with a chunk of coffee can and a bucket of bondo here. The car is rust free. (There are a few bumps and dings that were purposely left to retain the "look", but they'd be easily tapped out if you'd prefer that "fiberglass phony" look.... :-) Rear doors are "suicide" hinged. This is for pickup only, We will deliver within a 200 mile for $1.00 per mileCASH or certified bank check only! more pictures upon request
