1970 Porsche 914-4 Rebuilt Motor, Bored to 2.4l within the last 1500 miles Custom Forged Pistons High Performance Cam Shaft Dual Carbs - Webber 40's No Rust - Good Looking "Hell Hole" Brake System New Master Cylinder New Brake Lines New Parts Added Clutch and Clutch Cables Starter Distributor Cap, Rotor, Points and Contacts Alternator Belt Ignition Wires Coil Pirrellis Tires Seat Belts Gas Tank Cleaned and New Fuel Sender Unit Tansmission recently drained and filled with fresh gear oil Have new springs and shocks for front and back, just not installed yet Interior needs restoration Forth gear sychro ring worn out, will not stay in fourth gear This is a 1970 Porsche 914-4, the first year it was made, originally with the 1.7l motor. At some point in the 70's or 80's this car was overhauled to 2.2l and ended up sitting around for many years. When this relic was handed down to me three years ago, it continued to sit in my yard while I stocked up parts for it. When finally pulling the trigger on getting it running, I realized that the engine had seized and they no longer made the piston sleeves for the 2.2l overhaul that it had undergone. At that point we decided to bore out the motor a little more and forge custom pistons which brought the displacement up to approximately 2.4l.
