Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my 1995 Ford Probe GT. I've had this car a few months and frankly, I love it. I just can't stand being in such a small vehicle. It accelerates well, it turns well, it's reliable and it's in pretty good condition considering the mileage. There's no major rust spots. The clear coat on the roof is cracking and little rust blisters are forming. If I had a rotary sander, I'd have sanded this down and repainted it, but it's not bad enough for me to warrant concern. As you can see, it has a "cold air" intake, the original intake was held together by duct tape and I decided it'd be best to replace it with a washable air filter, so that's the motivation there. The exhaust has also been replaced. The car starts right up and drives well. It doesn't burn oil to my knowledge and I recently sea-foamed the engine, also the tires are in GREAT shape! The shifter bushings are worn out but it's a non-issue once you get the pattern down. The driver's seat has a tear in it as pictured, the passenger seat is flawless, I had a towel on it only because I was transporting my lab. Finally, regarding the interior. The passenger seat is reclined, it's been that way since I bought the car, the window/lock switches on the doors are also popping out, I guess because the tabs are broken. The car has an amp wired up, but the speakers aren't installed and the remote isn't hooked up to the radio. To verify the amp works, I installed a simple toggle switch between the 12VDC from the battery and the remote terminal. You will receive a pair of 10" Rockford Fosgate subs with the car, you'll need to build a box and run another set wire if you intend to run them in a stereo configuration. She's in rough cosmetic shape, but she runs like a champ. I hope she finds a good home! Thanks for looking. I apologize for the animal prints, I'll have the car washed for the buyer when they take delivery. I can meet you by 131 or M89 in Plainwell. I don't have the facilities to deliver. If you'd like to come look at the car, contact me and we'll set up a time. On Mar-02-11 at 05:54:45 PST, seller added the following information:I don't know if it's just me, but the steering wheel maybe off center by a small margin. I was told it's a common problem with Probes, but it'll probably need an alignment whenever the buyer tires of this. It doesn't affect handling in any way though. On Mar-06-11 at 07:34:28 PST, seller added the following information:I am also going to include a pair of "Dual" 12" subs in a box, wired for mono. If anyone cares, the radio antenna doesn't go down.
